Burials at Buckingham Friends Cemetery date back to 1705. Soldiers from the Revolutionary War are buried here. There are even a few Native Americans. You have to be a member of the Buckingham Friends Meeting to buy a grave lot here or you must be purchasing the lot for a member.
This is a large Quaker cemetery. It appears they have plenty of burial space left. However, the installation of grave markers did not become a custom until 1800 or later. So ancient graves without grave markers do exist at this cemetery.
