The latest Form 990 available through ProPublica is for the year 2013, which is odd. Where is 2014 and 2015?
I'm not a CPA, but it looks like their main investment is an art monument, which their 2013 Form 990 page 3 of Schedule D lists at a cost of $130,315. And they have something else listed in the same section of Schedule D, an item referred to as: "Kinneret Aleph," which the form says had a cost of $5500. Also, they are showing that they are more than $3 million in the red with $3,808,440 owed to brokers. This confuses and concerns me. Well established cemetery. Very old. Tons of graves. (?)
This filing shows they have no endowment.
Part IV, of Form 990, #10, asks:
Did the organization, directly or through a related organization, hold assets in term, permanent, or quasi-endowments?
They checked the NO box.

UPDATE: The 2016 Form 990 is out. And the "art monument" now has the sum $351,617 next to it. The form asks method of valuation. It's either cost or end of year market value. They list this sum as "cost."
I am confused. Where is the perpetual care money?
