The "Friends of Darby Methodist Cemetery" had taken over maintenance of this old cemetery. On May 1, 2016 a member of this organization announced they were discontinuing their work, because there was only enough money left for 6 more grass cuttings, and there was no community support or support from descendants of those buried here.

Mt. Zion Cemetery is next door. Eden Cemetery is a little further down the road.
