About:

The first burial at St. James Episcopal Cemetery in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia happened in 1762. The grounds were overdue for mowing during my visit. The surrounding neighborhood felt uncomfortable to me, though the fenced-in cemetery felt safe.

The Mt. Moriah and Holy Cross cemeteries are not far from here.
