I was surprised when I showed up here at St. James United Methodist Church in Philadelphia and found that the cemetery barely had any tombstones. Well, after I got home I checked out Google's satellite view and discovered that most of the cemetery is in the back of the church.
So I returned to this church cemetery.
During my last visit, when I only photographed the front yard, the grass was a little high. So I expected similar conditions in the back. I certainly was shocked when I saw how neglected this cemetery is. Look at these photos!
It's not a big cemetery. It can't be that difficult to maintain it.
