Green Lawn Cemetery in Chester Township, Delaware County has been in existence since 1907. Money was never set aside for perpetual care. After it filled-up, the money flow stopped. Eventually the cemetery was abandoned. Volunteer groups have tried to help in the past. It seems some people bring their own lawn mowers here to maintain their relatives' graves, as you will see in my May 2017 photos below.
This cemetery is fairly substantial in size. It is a huge amount of work to properly mow and trim the grounds, if there were anyone willing to do this.
