About:

Holy Cross Cemetery is approximately 225 acres in size. In 2014 they had about 800 burials, making it one of the most active cemeteries in Delaware County. It is run by the publicly traded StoneMor Partners. Though this cemetery is still owned by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, it is now a for-profit venture, along with SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield and several others.

Observations:

Holy Cross is a beautiful and very substantial cemetery. The size of the cemetery, how orderly it is, and the great variety of monuments is impressive. It is certainly one of the nicest cemeteries around.
