Jonathan Roberts Burial Grounds - King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Located at:
260 W. Dekalb Pike
King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
About:
This burial ground was established by United States Senator Jonathan Roberts. He died in 1854 and is buried here.
One unusual part of this story is that he made arrangements for local poor people to be buried here, at his family cemetery, around his family burial lot, regardless of skin color.
Development now surrounds the small cemetery. Portions of it can be seen from Route 202 (Dekalb Pike).
