Rose Hill Cemetery was established in 1885. They say they have a fully funded perpetual care trust fund. They have flexibility in the type of monuments allowed: bronze, granite, marble.
The cemetery is run by Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, which is at the corner of Susquehanna Road and Butler Pike. They consider this cemetery to be an "open cemetery," where it does not matter what faith you follow, or if you follow one.
Open 7 days per week from sunrise to sundown.
Pricing information as of August 2017:
One grave, which can accommodate 2 burials is $1200.
Two graves, which can accommodate 4 burials is $2200.
Three graves, which can accommodate 6 people is $3000.
Perpetual care is included in cost.
Grave openings which take place between 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekdays costs...
$1200 for single depth (6 feet)
$1350 for double depth (8 feet)
Saturday funerals cost an extra $350 up until noon.
Vaults are required.
Cremation interment, standard lot: $500.
Saturday interments of cremated remains costs an extra $250 up until noon.
They sell lots in a "Cremation Garden." One lot for two interments is $1600. A granite flat marker is included in the price. (2-0 x 1-0 x .04)
